Severus Snape Everyone's dreamboat professor, Severus Snape is the one Slytherin that the answers to no one, save Dumbledore himself, it would seem. He was a Death Eater, but turned spy for the good guys for reasons we don't yet know, but we're sure they're great, since it's Snape. He was treated awfully by his classmates when at Hogwarts as a student in the 1970's. Those four brats, the Marauders, would constantly torment him, especially James Potter and Sirius Black. He still hates the lot of them, not surprisingly, but he does help protect Potter's son, Harry, perhaps to repay the favor of Potter saving his life from a stupid prank Black tried to pull in their 5th year. He is still Potions Master at Hogwarts, teaching Harry and his classmates, though he would rather be DADA professor.
